I mentioned last week how I don't recommend eBooks over textbooks. However, I frequently come across online articles (scholarly or otherwise) that appear to have some relation to my studies. As I mentioned earlier this week, I like to untether from my computer every now and then, so I send the pieces to my Kindle for review.
I've created personal documents and emailed them to my Kindle account, but it's far easier to have someone else do it for you. I'm currently in love with Readability, which I've added as an extension to my Chrome browser so that "Send to Kindle" is two clicks away.
Now when I come across something I might like to read, I send it to my Kindle and have access just minutes later. From there I'll evaluate its merit and perhaps return to the original online post to save in my course links or print for further use.
